CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CLUB OFFICERS

President -- Pat Weathers (June 2007- May 2009)
Pat has been a member since 2003. She moved here from the midwest but didn't take up skiing until she lived in Florida. She has been skiing since1997. Pat was a co-trip leader for Snowmass in 2006 and was the trip leader for Innsbruck, Austria in 2007. Besides skiing Pat plays some golf and is in the advertising business. Pat hopes to help the Snowsharks grow and have some exciting ski trips through 2009.

Vice President -- Polly Trautweiler

Secretary -- Helen Knox (June 2007- May 2009)
Helen has been a member of the Snowsharks since 2000. She started skiing in 1986 and has skied most of the major ski resorts in the Northeast. Since 2000, her skiing has taken her to several ski resorts in Colorado and Utah. Helen's other passion, besides skiing, is hunter/jumper riding which she does year round.
Treasurer -- Jennifer England
Member since 1992. Jennifer has been skiing for 20 years and has been on many of the Snowsharks ski trips. Jennifer was Membership Chairman in 2005-2006. She was a co-trip leader to Steamboat in 2006. Best looking representative of the England Brothers. Jennifer will be the Treasurer to June 2008.
FSC Deligate -- Mason Curran
Member since 1986. Mason has been our Parliamentarian since 1999. He is a past president and past Secretary. He is the main coordinator of the club web site. Active on the Board of Directors. Trip Leader to Whistler in 2007.

The positions below are appointed by the President -- Those shown below are the existing and new appointees.
Membership (appointed) -- Jim Smithberger
Jim is a new member and is looking forward to supporting the Snowsharks and Membership. Jim started skiing in 1990. He has skied most of the major resorts in the West and a couple in the East. Jim was a major league foot ball player and played for the Boston Patriots and the Oakland Raiders until an injury ended his football career. He has worked for various Bell companies and retired as VP of Sales for Staff Leasing in Bradenton
Parliamentarian (appointed) -- Mason Curran
Member since 1986. Mason has been our Parliamentarian since 1999. He is a past president and past Secretary. He is the main coordinator of the club web site. Active on the Board of Directors. Trip Leader to Whistler in 2007.

Newsletter (appointed) -- Louis Sclafani
Skiing only since 2002 Lou has fallen in love with the sport and has shown great enthusiasm for it. He has been a member of the club since 2003 and is becoming increasingly active in it. Lou has been the Trip Leader for several trips and is the Trip Leader to Squaw Valley in 2007. Also being marketing director he hopes to make the Snowsharks the club of choice for Pinellas County skiers.
Outside Activities (appointed) -- Gwen Hazelton
Gwen has been skiing since she was 4 yrs old. Has skied most areas in the Northern Hemisphere, Austria and St. Moritz. Member of the Snowsharks since 1995. Co-tripleader to Whistler/Blackoomb. Was with the Tulsa Ski Club for 15 years and ran many ski trips with them. Besides skiing with the Snowsharks and FSC, enjoys camping, bicycling, kayaking and canoeing.
Web Site (appointed) -- Al Knox and Bruce Myers
Al is our software expert, guru and is the Web Master. He is responsible for the everyday web site tasks. Bruce has been assisting Al and has been the Web Master since 2000. Has been an active member since 1996 and was the trip leader to Interlaken. Bruce was also the Outside Activities Chairman from 2001 to 2005.
Marketing Director (appointed) -- Louis Sclafani
Skiing only since 2002 Lou has fallen in love with the sport and has shown great enthusiasm for it. He has been a member of the club since 2003 and is becoming increasingly active in it. Lou has been the Trip Leader for several trips and is the Trip Leader to Squaw Valley in 2007. Being appointed marketing director he hopes to make the Snowsharks the club of choice for Pinellas County skiers.
Trip Coordinator (appointed) -- Holly Wagner
Member of the Snowsharks for many years. Director of the Wagner empire. Avid skier and scuba diver. Member of the Sea Bunnies. Loves to drive up and down Hwy 19 in heavy traffic. Holly jumped in to help us with the 2005 ski trips. She did a great job and is now set to continue her trip coordination efforts through 2008.
