SpringFest at Ft. Desoto -- May 18, 2003

| The Snowsharks and Sunday Bladers had another successful SpringFest at Ft. Desoto Shelter #4. Sixty-one people come out and enjoyed the beautiful day. We had 22 skiers only, 13 blader/skiers, 6 potential skiers and 20 (for now) strictly bladers. It was a little warm blading at 9 AM but all had a good time on Ft. Desoto’s smooth trail. There was plenty of good food and Master Chef Henry grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for all. Jeff B brought Kayaks and several went kayaking. A group of people enjoyed the beach. Several went biking. The rest of us just relaxed in the nice breeze under the shade of Shelter #4. Lots of people renewed their membership, taking advantage of our new lower membership dues. Many also signed up for our 2004 ski trips. | ||
