Snowmass Trip Report
Our trip to Snowmass was a great success. Forty eight (48) people joined myself and Pat Weathers (trip leaders) on an adventurous trip to Snowmass, CO. for a week of skiing. The trip started off with a small snafu, the bus driver didn't know where 'Applejacks' was. How could they not know with 965 skiers from Florida on the way? The FSC offered two really nice dinner parties and the mountain lunch was a great success. ALL non-skiers and skiers had a chance to attend and the weather was perfect! During our club Pizza party, we all had lessons on Bunko (from Holly Wagner) and played until we had laugh lines! The only problem that was handled with difficulty, and accuracy, was the bus trip back to Denver! How can 50 people, and luggage, fit into a bus for 24? Get Out of The Way and Hold On! Between diligence and determination we got another bus and made it to the Denver airport with 10 minutes to spare!!! All in all, the members of our group had a great time, and would gladly go back again.
