Steamboat Trip Report
The Snowsharks were treated to some fine weather for our January Steamboat trip. Imagine the depth of snow that you expect in early January, combined with warm daytime temperatures normally associated with spring. It was sunny spring skiing without the slush!

The Florida Ski Council put on the most well run trip in the history of the organization. The luncheon and parties had good food, and were well attended, with easy access via the gondola. The races went smoothly, with no waiting time, and actually completed early.

Our group was a good combination of new people and the “usual suspects”. We all became acquainted with one another at the Pirate’s Cove bar, where we had a Happy Hour get-together and a dinner, enjoying each others’ company, and the excellent Thai finger-food.

Donna’s club dinner was a gastronomical and social success. As well as good food, everyone got one free drink which aided in our social and communicative experiences. We also took advantage of the event to take all of the people’s picture that missed the Group Picture.

In short, if you were not there, you missed out on a good trip!
