Join the Snow Sharks as they take this eight (8) day trip to Whistler/Blackcomb BC, Canada. Whistler and Blackcomb mountains have the largest vertical drop found at any mountain resort on the continent. The base is around 2000 feet, so there are no problems with altitude sickness: however, the peaks are high enough to support a glacier. It is one of the few resorts that can guarantee snow year round!
The number of participants on our trip is limited by the 14 rooms that we have reserved. After they are filled, the trip will be closed. That is 28 persons maximum
We fly into Vancouver on Friday, and then spend Saturday on the town. Vancouver is a wonderful city for sightseeing, shopping and fine dining, with an old gaslight section of town, a bay, and a beautiful mountain backdrop.
On Sunday we enjoy the two hour drive up to Whistler. This is one of the most picturesque routes anywhere, as we wind our way along the coast and up into the mountains.
In Whistler/Blackomb we will stay at the flagship hotel of the premier resort in North America, Fairmont Chateau Whistler. It is nestled at the base of breathtaking Blackcomb Mountain, just a short walk from Whistler Village. Some literature has this hotel listed as a ski-in/ski out. Worst case, the lifts may only be a short walk away over level ground. This luxury resort hotel is the perfect place to be, on or off the slopes. Warm up by the Great Hall fireplace...sip on a soothing cocktail while taking in the scenery...take a dip in the slopeside indoor/ourdoor pool or soak in the hot tub under the stars.

The club will work to keep the cancellation charges to as low as possible. |
