Winter Park Ski Trip Report

| Saturday the flight on American Airlines was right on time. A very easy flight to Denver, our bus transportation 'People's Choice, were very accommodating, we made a liquor store and grocery store stop. Check in at the Iron Horse was very simple and easy. Most of us rented our ski's at the resort, very good quality ski's & boots. Sunday we had some fresh powder coming down, we hit the mountain at 8:30 for a fun day skiing, that night we had the Pub Crawl, we had 14 out of 20 that went to town, some stayed out until the last bus arrived. Monday night the FSC had a get acquainted party, various hor d'oeuvre's, pasta and salads. A real fun night. Tuesday on the mountain we had the Nastar race and Funny boxer shorts/crazy hat day, some were really cute, we had a free lunch at the Snoasis at the mid-mountain restaurant that night I took all of our group out to dinner in town at the Wildcreek, it was great. Wednesday this was a ski on your own day, several of us tried to go out early, the snow came in at 9:00 we got about 6" that day, came in early. Thursday we had another great day on the mountain that night we had a FSC wild, wild west party, all of the trip leaders, were arrested & put in Jail until money was raised to get them out. This was a real fun night and good food. Friday it was great skiing, Bruce Myers would head down the mountain saying "Catch me if your can". Saturday our bus arrived 45 minutes early so we headed to DIA, a smooth flight to Tampa. Winter Park is a great place to go. I hope we can do this again sometime.
